Oh boy, Apple have created a minefield with the iPads!
Quite honestly, I wouldn’t buy another Pro and I’d never buy an Air… but why?
Simple. They’re ridiculously expensive for the marginal improvement in performance that the vast majority of people would never benefit from.
The second reason is that changing batteries or replacing screens are both risky and expensive. Same applies to the new Minis… which are more expensive than the standard ones, and that makes no sense to me. The screens are especially expensive, having the LCD bonded to the outer glass/digitiser.
We can happily replace the screens on everything else.
